A while back, I shared that our little Berry had fallen seriously ill. For those who don’t know Berry, she was a tiny soul with a giant personality—fierce, curious, and endlessly loving. When she got sick, we knew we had to do everything we could to help her recover.
As many of you know, I’m part of the team behind Maybo Pet Freeze-Dried Treats. When Berry was at her weakest, we carefully selected gentle, high-quality protein sources tailored just for her condition—nothing harsh, nothing unnecessary—only the purest ingredients Maybo could offer. We hoped those little bites of love could give her strength, comfort, and a reason to keep fighting.
But life, sometimes, has a different plan.

A few weeks ago, Berry left us. She crossed the rainbow bridge quietly, on her own terms. In her final days, she was in pain, and her owner had prepared to help her go peacefully through euthanasia. But Berry had other plans. She dragged her tired little body to a patch of soft green grass—her chosen spot—and there, she laid down and let go.
What stays with me most is this: on her very last day, she and I had a video call. I got to see her, tell her I loved her, and watch her blink slowly back at me. And when her owner sent me the photo of her resting peacefully, I noticed something that broke me and healed me at once—she was curled up with a piece of Maybo freeze-dried treat still tucked beside her.
She took us with her. She took me with her.

I don’t know if dogs understand brands, or labels, or the work we put into sourcing the right meat. But I do know this: Berry trusted us. She loved the little comforts we gave her. And in the end, she chose to leave this world with a taste of something that made her happy.
Rest easy, sweet Berry. You were deeply loved, and you are deeply missed. And yes—you’ll always be our official taste-tester at Maybo.
Until we meet again. 🌈🐾
